Phonics

We follow the 'Read Write Inc' phonics scheme in our daily phonics practice across EYFS and KS1.

We provide children with decodable phonics books, following the Read Write Inc scheme, weekly for home reading. We are keen to ensure our phonics provision is outstanding for all, so we work closely with the English Hub.

Reading for Pleasure 

All at Coddington CofE Primary School and Nursery believe that every child, regardless of their background, needs or abilities should become a confident, fluent and enthusiastic reader. As a school, we have joined the Lincolnshire Reading Pledge and are working alongside similar schools to share best practice and ideas.
